Eagle House fully recognises the responsibility it has under section 157 of the Education Act 2002 to have arrangements in place to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
The school’s Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy is for all employees, peripatetic, contract and self-employed staff and volunteers. Our policy and procedures apply to boarders, day-children and children attending Hideout (after hours and holiday facilities) and they have been drawn up following the guidance on Keeping Children Safe in Education and DfE Working Together to Safeguard Children and in compliance with the National Minimum Standards for boarding section 11.
