The Hideout runs from the end of school day until 6pm. Children in the Nest and Reception join The Happy Hideout, which is based in the
Pre -Prep Activity Room whilst those in Years 1 and 2 join the children in Years 3 and 4 at The Hideout, which is based in the Green Room.
Each week is themed and the activities for the week will be based around this theme. This term the themes include The Rugby World Cup, Harry Potter and a Cooking week.
Daily Routine for The Happy Hideout
3:15 – 3:30pm Welcome and Registration
3:30 – 4:00pm Outdoor Play (Pre-Prep playground)
4:00 – 4:30pm Tea (in the Dining Hall)
4:30 – 6:00pm Activities in the Pre-Prep Activity Room (a range of activities will be available on a daily basis including art and crafts,
puzzles and games, construction toys, cooking)

and games, construction toys, cooking and sport. New this term we have a puzzle, game and brain game of the week,
allowing the children to work on small independent projects in collaboration.
There is a quiet area available for any children who would like to quietly work on projects, etc for school and children will be able to go to the Music Rooms to practice their instruments from 5:00pm by arrangement.

Children need to be registered to attend The Hideout sessions and all places need to be pre-booked. Emergency places may be available for booking on the day but this is subject to a place being available. There is an hourly charge of £6.00. Children have to be three years or over to attend The Hideout.

Lynne Goodall - Leader
Lynne has lived in this area for 30 years and has been working at Eagle House since April 2007. She has two grown up children. She has an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare.
Lynne thoroughly enjoys looking after the younger children and relishes the role of providing them with a fun, challenging and stimulating environment. She enjoys organising a wide range of activities within the weekly theme.
In her spare time Lynne enjoys walking, cycling and rollerskating. |
