Ludgrove Cross-Country Relays Thursday 22nd February

A great performance by the two Eagle House Teams at this very muddy event.  Our Junior team - Michael Wright, Adam Dewes, Julius Manton-Jones and Saxon Coop - performed very well, finishing sixth overall.  Saxon recorded the third fastest lap out of all the junior runners.  A great effort from all these young athletes.

The senior team - Jake Aungier, Oskar Winkler, Felix Fowler and Jonny Burgin - ran an amazing relay, finishing second overall.  The effort from all was excellent and Jonny Burgin recorded the fastest lap in the entire senior race (7 minutes and 8 seconds).  The team collected medals at the prize giving and we left feeling very pleased with the performance of all our runners.

WE HAD AN EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL CROSS COUNTRY COMPETITION WHERE A NUMBER OF OUR PUPILS AND TEAMS WERE PLACED VERY HIGHLY.  CONGRATULATIONS GO TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED FOR THE SCHOOL.  WELL DONE EVERYONE.
