Match 1(4) vs Yateley Manor Result: Lost 12-1 Try scorer: Cameron Forkes Our first game of the season after having our previous 3 fixtures cancelled and it was quite a learning curve for our boys. The Yateley team started well and scored the first of their tries before too long. With harder tackling, faster running and more aggression shown by our opposition we started to fall off tackles and let the game slip away. The scoreline of 7-0 at half time was a representation of the dominance that the Yateley team had on the game. After talking through our problems at half time we came out firing in the second half and were very unlucky not to cross the line straight off the first pass. After our initial burst at the start we again started to slip in the second half and let Yateley start to run away. With our concentration lacking and our heads down now it took another great run from Cameron Forkes to score our one and only try of the match making his way through half of the opposition on the way to the line. So we look forward to our second and final match of the season on Saturdy against Lambrook.
