Netball Under 10 Team 'Blog'

Wednesday th December

U10A v Yateley Manor won 14-9

After a hesitant start Eagle House moved into the lead.  The defence kept their eye on the ball turning around passes after many excellent interceptions from Ashleigh especially.  Suzanne and Charlotte worked well with Imogen to link passes into the circle.  A great game to end an unbeaten season.  Well done to all!

Wednesday 22nd November

U10A V Hall Grove won 13-10

A good game with two well matched sides.  Both attacking teams fought hard for the ball but Eagle House converted more attempts at goal.  During the last quarter the Hall Grove GA had her eye in and pulled ever closer to the Eagle house score.  A very exciting finish.

U10B V Hall Grove won 11-0

Eagle House displayed superior skills throughout the game but had only managed to score 1 goal by half time.  The shooters managed to gain more possession of the ball in the second half and produced shots on target.  Well done.

Wednesday 15th november

U10A Netball V Holme Grange won 8-3

An exciting game with determined play from both sided. Rebounds in the defending circle were fed well into centre court. The attack from Eagle House were on form converted some superb goals. It was a very positive win.

U10B Netball V Holme Grange won 8-1

The Eagle House girls played very well against an opposition who were quite inexperienced. Our teamwork was impressive. Kim and Ellie worked very well together in the circle to score the goals. Captain Rosie was a reliable captain in defence.

U10 Tournament @ King Edward's Witley

V St Thomas’s Clapham - Won 8-3

V Downesend - Won 2-0

V Felton Fleet - Won 6-2

V Barrow Hills - Won 5-4

V Daneshill - Drew 4-4

V Edgeborough - Won 7-1

Semi-final V St Thomas’s Kensington - Lost 5-4 (after extra time)

The U10’s played excellently throughout the morning achieving some amazing results. Particular mention should go the Charlotte and Siana for their superb movement and accurate shooting in the circle. The girls were justifiably disappointed to lose by one goal in a semi-final which was at times frantic! Their great results in the group round put them third out of 14 teams. I was proud to be with a team that represented Eagle House so well – Charlotte (captain), Siana, Imogen, Suzanne, Ashleigh, Rosie, Alexandra and Ellie.

U10A Netball V St Joseph’s Won 17-0

U10B Netball V St Joseph’s Won 6-2
