Wednesday 5th October
Eagle House Vs Hoe Bridge
Result Eagle House 0 - Hoe Bridge 9
The match was played at a fast and good skilled level with both teams passing the ball around. Hoe Bridge looking an experienced side played well down the sides sending dangerous balls into the area making sure that Lewis Sharp was kept busy. Hoe Bridge took the lead after a sustained amount of pressure which then also led to two further goals soon after.

Half time score - Eagle House 0 - Hoe Bridge 3
During the second half Eagle House suffered two injuries both happening in goal with Lewis Sharp taking a shot to the face and then his replacement Christian Gale getting stamped on when both players went for the ball. This was unfortunate as Christian had been pulling off some brilliant saves and was getting into the swing of it. Having these injures stretched the team and unfortunately Hoe Bridge were able to expose it and go on to score some well worked goals. Despite the result we had some fantastic plays from Carlos Rivas De Anta, Max Rickard, Oscar Heal and Christian Gale. ]

Comments for next match:

- Don't hold back when you are going into a tackle.
The next match is on Saturday 8th October against Papplewick at home at 2:30 kick off.

Eagle House Vs Hall Grove
Result Eagle House 0 - Hall Grove 8
Today was blessed with lovely weather with high temperatures. For the first 5 minutes of the game both teams were on attack testing both goalies with Lewis Sharp pulling off some great shots. After so long Hall Grove were able to break the defence and the ball got a deflection off an Eagle House defender sending Lewis the wrong way. Unfortunately Hall Grove were able to get two very quick goals and within two minutes we were three nil down.
Half time score - Eagle House 0 - Hall Grove 4
Again Eagle House started off strongly as did Hall Grove. Christian Gale working hard on the left wing running with the ball and dragging the defence and midfield all over the pitch. Like in the first half we were unlucky to concede another easy goal where a shot from half way looped over and dipped under the cross bar with Lewis Sharp struggling whilst facing into the sun. During the game Eagle House were able to make the goalie work with a lovely worked ball up the left wing and crossed in where Carlos Rivas De Anta was able get a first time strike but ended up going just skimming the upright.
Comments for next match:
- Look up football.
- Call for the ball.
- Move around pulling the opposition away to free space up.

Saturday 17th September
Eagle House Vs Cranleigh
Result Eagle House 1 - Cranleigh 1
The game was played in torrential rain with thunder rumbling around the pitch. Lewis Sharp yet again had a brilliant game in goal saving many goal bound shots, putting pressure on the striker. A solid performance from all members of the defence, delivering balls out wide to the awaiting midfield. Cranleigh scored first with a good worked goal and maintained strong attacks, but with Christian Gale, Stephen Gianikas and James Scott putting in brilliant tackles and passes to midfield Eagle House were able to get the ball up to Carlos Rivas De Anta where he was able to strike the ball past the goalie. Going into the second half both teams were fighting through the weather and looking for that winning game, a solid performance from Christopher Myers both with the ball and tackling the opponents. With the game looking like a draw with the last four minutes to go Eagle House were awarded a penalty for hand ball. Carlos Rivas De Anta stepped up to the ball and struck it well but unfortunately the goalie was up for the challenge and kept the ball out. In the last minutes both teams were on all attack with waves of attack from both teams.
From this game there are many positives that the boys can take from the game. We kept our positions well and passed well. Our next match is on Wednesday 21st away at Yateley Manor at 2:30pm kick off.
Man of the Match: Lewis Sharp.

Wednesday 7th September
Eagle House Vs Feltonfleet
Result Eagle House 0 - Feltonfleet - 7
Despite the result Eagle House played very well as a team that had only had one training session on the Tuesday. Lewis Sharp had a hard game in goal pulling off some good saves. The defence tried to keep Feltonfleet at bay but with a well drilled striking force from Feltonfleet they could only do so much. A solid game from Stephen Giannikas tackling and clearing the ball well. Both William Brown and Thomas Ogilvil played well in midfield working back and helping back in defence and distributing the ball well up to Zak Tilley.
There are many positives that the boys can take from the first game as well as areas to improve on for the game against Cranleigh on Saturday 17th.
Man of the Match: Stephen Giannikas.
