The Eagles started slowly and were one down after 2 minutes. Some good work from the keeper (Lloyd Meakin) kept us in the match but we did find it difficult generating enough opportunities for the forwards. The second half started poorly for the Eagles when another early goal was conceded. However this seemed to spur the Eagles into action. Extra effort from Max Baldwin, Ruoyu Hu and Kai O'Callaghan lead to more possession. After 9 minutes in the second half a fantastic pass from Frederick Hindley found Socihiro Asao who finished superbly. Another fine save from Lloyd kept us in the match but the Eagles were unable to press ahead and gain the equalizer. Overall a good match. Man of the Match: Lloyd Meakin
