Summer Fun 2012: Years 1 - 4
10% discount is available for all bookings made and paid for by Friday 18th May.
There is also a 10% discount on all siblings booked and paid for by Friday 22nd June.
Outlined below are the themes for the weeks - these activities will typically run for a couple of hours a day with specialist staff. The rest of the day children will join up with other age groups and have a variety of outdoor games (weather permitting of course!), art and craft, cooking and swimming. Those children in Years 1 and 2 not wishing to take part in these activities may join the Early Years for these sessions if they would rather.
Week 1: 9th – 13th July
Bushcraft
Mr Barron will be leading this week and exploring the best of the great outdoors. Lots of activities based in the woods using natural materials - highlights to iinclude building shelters, cooking over wood fires and orienteering around the Lookout. There will be trips to Wisley RHS Garden and the Lookout this week.
Week 2: 16th – 20th July
Golf
Mr Skepper and Mr Guest will be leading the Golf sessions this week. The children will develop their golf skills, visit a local putting green, play a round of crazy golf and take a trip to Top Golf, Addlestone.
Week 3: 23rd – 27th July
Art Week
Back by popular demand Mrs 'T' will be running an Art week - the children will be painting Cornish scenes.
Week 4: 30th July – 3rd August
Wheels Week
This week we are encouraging the children to bring in their bikes and scooters. There will be lots of activities based around the 'Wheels' theme, as well as professional cycling instructors on site to take children mountain biking, give initial road safety sessions (on site) and be on hand to help those not yet confident to master cycling without stabilisers!
Week 5: 6th – 10th August
Mini Olympics
A whole range of sports on offer this week - there will be taster sessions for a range of olympic sports each morning, culminating in our own mini olympic event on Friday.
Week 6: 13th – 17th August
Arsenal Soccer School
Arsenal Soccer School will be joining us this week to give the children some pre-season training - a must for all those budding footballers.
There will be a wide range of activities including arts and crafts, cooking, swimming and outdoor games available every week.
