| Gardner Singing Competition 2012 |

11th May 2012 - six young singers gave a recital of great class as they fought to become the winner of this year's trophy. From Amarilla, mia bella by Caccini to Fly me to the Moon by Howard the varied programme delighted the audience as well as the adjudicator, Xavier Iles, from Wellington College. The winner was Ella Dow but all competitors - Tom Gray, Charlotte Evershed, Jono Foster, Isabelle Edwards, Theo Talbot - showed what great singing is all about. We were lucky to have two ex pupils come and perform; Menna Braithwaite from St Mary's and Henry Jones from Charterhouse entertained us superbly. Well done to all who performed. A wonderful evening of music.
