The E Factor - May 2009
We had a fantastic evening on Saturday at the E4! So far the evening has raised an amazing sum of £2200 for our charities thanks to your kind support and generosity.
However, the biggest thanks should go to the children and staff who put on such confident and brilliant performances to entertain the crowd. It is amazing how much talent we have in the school. Although all the performers were winners, a lucky few did wow the judges enough to be awarded a legendary ‘E’. Many congratulations to everyone.
Runners Up ‘E’s were awarded to:
Theo, Jamie, Rohaan and Charlie (year 3) for their fun dance and act to ‘Low’
Noah Walton (Year 6) for his creative genius producing the Rock DVD ‘I Love Rock and Roll’
Francesca and Huw (Year 8) for their breathtaking performance of the song ‘Tell Her’ from 13 the Musical
Boy Band (Year 7 – Toby, Patrick, Will K, Adam, Hamza) for their toe tapping, slick moving rendition of ‘One Step Closer to Heaven’
First prize ‘E’s were awarded to:
Ella D (Year 4) for her dramatic rendition of the song ‘Castle on a Cloud’ from the musical ‘Les Miserables’
The Sharpshooters (Year 8 – Tom S, Daniel R, Will R, Conor D and Sean M) for their rocking performance of ‘Don’t Stop Believing’
Ellie and Jaya (Year 7) for their creative and talented act ‘McCavity’ from the musical ‘cats’. The girls also scooped the overall winner award.
A big thank you should also go to the Eagle House staff and Pat Rubin for their hard work in putting the event on – it was a real team effort.
